I built my desktop back in 2019 and I'm looking to add some SSDs. I'm checking out the inside of my Thermaltake case, but I'm not sure if I need brackets to mount the SSDs. It seems like there might be some kind of bracket system that slides in, but I can't remember if I kept the extras that came with the case. Also, I know my setup is a bit dusty, but I'm planning to clean it out! Here's a link to a picture of the inside of my case: [https://imgur.com/a/NB849Qx](https://imgur.com/a/NB849Qx).

Not sure about your exact model, but you usually have a few options: 1. You need a bracket. 2. There could be special screws with rubber inserts that you screw into the SSD from underneath, then slide it into the case. 3. Or you can just use regular screws without rubber inserts, but that might scratch your case. If you're not into that, get the rubber ones!
SSDs are pretty chill, they just need power and data plugged in. Unlike HDDs, they won’t fail if they aren’t perfectly secured.
It seems like you might need brackets, but if you don't have them, you could just tape the SSD down or leave it unsecured.
It looks like you can just screw the SSD directly to the case from the back. Make sure you can access those screw holes by removing the side panel. That should work!
I also found the little bag of mounting screws and rubber bits that came with the case, so I’m all set!
Yup, I can access those! That makes sense, thanks a ton!
Yeah, it turns out I have the screws and rubber inserts, so option 2 is what I’m going with!
