Hey everyone! I've got a Ryzen 9 7900X paired with an X870 motherboard and was curious if it's feasible to run 4 sticks of RAM. I know that two sticks are usually recommended for performance, but I'm really interested in using four for the RGB lighting. What do you think?

Yes, you can use four sticks of RAM in your setup, but be aware that you might not be able to run them at their maximum speed. It's definitely workable if aesthetics are a priority for you!

Absolutely, it’s possible to install four sticks. Just keep in mind that you might have to give up a bit on performance since they may run at a lower speed than if you were using two sticks. But hey, RGB shines bright!

Running four sticks will generally make all your RAM operate at slower speeds, which could impact your overall system performance. If you’re mainly after the RGB look, some brands sell dummy sticks that only provide the lighting without the actual memory. For instance, Corsair has a Vengeance RGB light enhancement kit! Check it out!

Do those come in a white version? That would look awesome!
