Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice here. Recently, my PC has been shutting off while I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077. I've played the game for about 45 hours without any issues before this. My specs are:
- AMD 7600 GPU
- AMD R5 7600 CPU
- BM650 S2H Motherboard
- 32GB DDR RAM
- Corsair RM750x PSU
I'm using the stock cooler that came with the CPU. I know it's often debated, but I haven't had any problems with it until now. Typically, my temperatures are around 56 degrees when idle and between 65-70 under heavy load. I've noticed abruptly that AMD stopped reporting temps, even after reconnecting the CPU fan and cables. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You might want to consider upgrading your cooler. The stock coolers, while decent for mild use, can struggle with games like Cyberpunk. It could be causing your system to shut off due to overheating. Have you checked your temperatures using HWInfo? It’s strange that your AMD software isn’t reporting anything. Also, have you noticed any odd behavior from your PC outside of just the shutdowns?
Make sure you’re not having any power issues with your PSU. A Corsair RM750x should be enough, but it could have some faulty cables or connectors. Have you tried testing it with other games or doing a stress test to see if the problem persists under different loads?
