I recently picked up a used ASUS Prime B450M-K motherboard, and I'm having trouble finding the option to enable XMP in the BIOS. My RAM is currently running at 2133MHz instead of the 3200MHz it's supposed to be. I have a 16GB Corsair Vengeance module and a used Ryzen 5 3600 processor. Any advice on how to get XMP or the equivalent setting enabled?

Make sure to check the motherboard manual too; it might have some info regarding the BIOS settings you’re looking for. Some users have mentioned that video tutorials can be helpful, so it's worth checking those out for your specific motherboard model.

Just a heads up: XMP is mainly for Intel systems. For AMD setups like yours, the equivalent is called EXPO. So look for that if you're trying to push your RAM performance!

You actually want to look for something called DOCP instead of XMP on your ASUS board. In the BIOS, check around under the memory settings to see if you can find that option. It’s designed for AMD systems, so it should help you achieve your RAM speeds.
