Why isn’t my new M.2 NVMe SSD showing up in Disk Management?

Hey everyone! I recently added an M.2 NVMe SSD to my prebuilt computer for some extra storage space. The weird part is, while the BIOS recognizes it just fine, I can't find it in Disk Management. Am I missing something, or is there a chance my SSD is defective?

Have you tried using Diskpart to see if it detects the SSD? Just make sure you select the right one from the list when you do!

I checked, but Diskpart doesn't see it either; only BIOS and Device Manager can detect it.

If your BIOS supports it, try formatting the drive directly from there. If that's not an option, you could boot from a live Linux ISO and format the SSD using Linux, as Windows can sometimes struggle with certain drives without a proper filesystem like NTFS or exFAT.
