Help! My iPhone 15 Shows Data Usage from Uninstalled Apps—What’s Going On?

I've been experiencing a really frustrating issue with my iPhone 15. For the past six months, every day I see data usage and battery drain attributed to "uninstalled apps," even though I haven't deleted any apps in a long time. I reset my data stats multiple times a day and keep a close eye on them, but the problem persists. I even factory reset my phone, yet these uninstalled apps continue to show up in the battery statistics. It's causing me a lot of stress and I feel like it's ruining my mental health. I'm desperately seeking advice to fix this issue!

How much data is this actually using? Even if it seems small, it could add up over time, which would be super annoying. Have you checked your data usage settings? Sometimes resetting the stats isn't enough if an app is stuck in the background.

It's a few hundred KB daily on average, but on some days it spikes into the MBs. It's not huge but enough to be concerning for me.

It sounds super frustrating! From what you've described, it might be an issue with how the OS is handling app data, or maybe it's a glitch. Have you tried checking if any of your apps are still running background processes? Sometimes even the apps that are not showing up can still use data if they've been improperly uninstalled. Also, make sure your iOS is up to date; that can sometimes solve these mysterious problems!

Yeah, definitely keep your iOS updated! And if nothing works, consider reaching out to Apple Support; they might have more insights on this issue.
