I'm completely new to gaming and I want to start using a PC to enhance my gaming experience. I've heard that building a PC can be cheaper than buying a prebuilt one, but I have zero knowledge about computers. Can anyone guide me on where to start or suggest resources that can explain the basics? Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

You might want to look at Paul's Hardware on YouTube. He has videos for builds at different price points ($500, $1000, etc.) and explains why he chooses those parts. But first, consider what games you want to play. Different games have different requirements, and that’ll help you determine the best components to focus on!
Check out Linus Tech Tips on YouTube for a solid PC build guide. It's a great starting point! They break everything down for you and make it much easier to understand.
I totally recommend building your own PC! I've never done it before either, and I just started watching videos last week. It’s mostly about snapping parts together and plugging them in. Just do your research on the individual parts, and you should be good! Let me know if you want specifics on parts and your budget!
I get that I’m not an expert since I haven't built one yet, but I’ve been studying parts for years. I can still give decent advice based on that knowledge!
Also, if you’re mostly gaming alone, you can keep costs down by skipping on flashy RGB and expensive cases. A decent-looking case can be found for under $100, allowing you to invest more in a powerful GPU or CPU.
