Questions About My RM1000x 2024 PSU Validity

Hey everyone! I just got my new RM1000x 2024 power supply unit, but I have a few concerns. The box states it's Cybenetics Gold and A- rated, while I expected it to be Platinum and A rated. Is this a common issue? Also, the front shows 12V-2x6, but the side labels the cables as 12VHPWR (12+4). Is that normal, or am I overthinking this? Would love to hear from other owners if this is typical!

I did a quick search, and Corsair's site confirms that it's rated as Cybenetics Gold, so it seems correct. If you noticed any discrepancies in the listing, it could be a mistake or a different PSU sent to you. Don't worry too much; as long as you didn’t pay a premium, it should be legit. I've never heard of counterfeit PSUs, especially from Corsair!

Thanks for checking that! I’ve seen the Platinum rating too, so I’m glad it’s stable. Just a bit perplexed about those cable listings!

This looks like the right PSU to me! I've had great luck with Corsair PSUs in the past, and they’ve been reliable for me. The 12VHPWR cable is exactly what you need for the newer 4000 and 5000 series graphics cards, so no need to stress about that. You're good to go!
