Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a GPU to match up with my ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor. I've got a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, which I primarily use for grand strategy games. I'm looking at the new RX 9060 XT 16GB priced around $400, and there's a used RX 9070 XT going for about $700. I'm not keen on spending more money unless there's a clear performance gain at my resolution. My primary focus is on grand strategy games, which lean more on the CPU, but I do play some single-player games now and then, like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, usually at medium settings. Do you think the RX 9060 XT would serve me well, or is it worth splurging for the RX 9070 XT? Thanks for any insights!

The RX 9060 XT can handle medium settings at 1440p, but if you're thinking about ultra performance, the RX 9070 XT is definitely the way to go. That card really shines at that resolution, especially for future-proofing and playing fast-paced games.
What about a used 7800 XT for $400? Would that be a better option?
