I'm new to AMD and have a 9800X3D setup on an X870E motherboard. I previously had Intel and installed 2x16GB 7200MHz CL34 DDR5 on my current build. Since enabling EXPO, everything seems stable for both gaming and productivity. I read that for AMD, achieving a 1:1 ratio with CPU and memory is beneficial, recommending 6000-6400MHz or even 8000MHz+. Some YouTube comparisons showed that 7200MHz performs better than 6000-6400MHz in similar setups. Given that my current RAM runs well, should I consider switching to 6000MHz DDR5 for potential benefits or stick with what I have?

If it's running fine for you, there's really no need to change. Some people prefer to stick with their higher speed RAM unless they encounter issues. Just enjoy your gaming!
You might see better performance by downgrading to 6000MHz for sure. Try to see if you can run at 6400MHz in a 1:1 ratio or push it to 8000MHz in a 2:1 configuration. It could be worth experimenting!
Here’s a quick check: 1. Install CPU-Z 2. Go to the Memory tab 3. Check your Uncore frequency 4. Report back what you find. It could help in deciding!
I see it fluctuating between 1796MHz and 1800MHz!
True, but upgrading could give you that next-gen speed boost!
