I'm in the process of building a gaming system and I'm considering getting 32GB of RAM. How long will this amount be sufficient for gaming without running into problems? Should I really be looking at 64GB instead, or will 32GB handle my needs for a few years?

Honestly, 32GB should be more than enough for gaming for a long time. Many players are still happy with 16GB, and you can always upgrade if you really find you need more down the line. As for 64GB, it feels like overkill unless you're doing something super resource-intensive.
I've been using 32GB for some strategy games that are RAM-intensive, and I rarely see it exceed 16GB during normal gameplay. It's safe to say that it will last for a while, especially for standard AAA games.
Yeah, I totally agree! I think you'll find 32GB sufficient unless there’s a major shift in gaming requirements.
