Hi everyone! I'm in the process of upgrading from a laptop to a full desktop setup and I'm a bit lost when it comes to selecting a graphics card and motherboard. I have an Intel Core i5-14600K Raptor Lake processor, and I'm looking for a graphics card in the $600 range and a motherboard that ideally costs under $200. I also have an MSI MAG A850GL power supply, which is 850 watts and ATX 3.1 compatible. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Totally agree with the previous comment. Before you decide, think about what you’ll be using the PC for. Gaming? Content creation? Those factors will help narrow down your choices. Just make sure the motherboard has enough features for your needs, like RAM slots and expansion ports. Also, you might want to keep an eye out for sales or bundles to get more value!
First off, your motherboard choice should align with your Intel Core i5 CPU. Look for an LGA 1700 socket for compatibility. Brands like ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte have great options. As for the graphics card, considering your budget, you might want to check out the NVIDIA RTX 3060 or even the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT if you can find a good deal. They'll give you solid performance for gaming and creative tasks!
Thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely consider those models.
Got it! That makes sense. I’ll check out the features and possible sales.
