Why isn’t FSR working for me with my new GPU?

Hey everyone, I just got a 9070 graphics card and I'm running it with an 8700F processor. Initially, I struggled with FPS issues, but I managed to solve those by turning off V-Sync. Now, I'm experimenting with FSR, but it doesn't seem to make any impact on my FPS. I'm testing it with GTA 5 Enhanced at max RTX settings in 1080p and I'm averaging around 80-90 FPS, sometimes even hitting 100 FPS, regardless of whether FSR is enabled or not. What could be going wrong?

FSR works by letting your GPU render at a lower resolution and upscale it for better performance. If you're not seeing any improvement, it might be because your CPU is old and slow. It could be holding back your GPU, causing it to wait for instructions a lot. So it seems like you might be hitting a CPU bottleneck here.

Sounds like you're right on the money with the bottleneck! If your CPU can't keep up with your GPU, it won't matter if FSR is on or off. You could really benefit from an upgrade to a faster CPU to get the most out of that 9070.
