Looking for Tips to Build My First PC

Hey everyone! I've got an Nvidia MSI 507TI GPU that I bought back in February, and now that my travels are over for the year, I'm ready to dive into building my own PC. I'm not really looking to skimp on quality, but I also want to get the best bang for my buck. I've done some Googling, but honestly, I just end up getting confused. Any tips or recommendations would be super helpful!

Here's a build suggestion for you: consider looking into the 9800X3D and maybe an AIO cooler if you're okay with spending a bit more. It's a solid choice especially if you're gaming at 1080p! Here's a link you might want to check out: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Kx4srM

Thanks! I’ll take a look at that soon.

You might want to visit Parispicker.com for build examples. Just pick your side (AMD or Intel) and start searching for parts by name or model number. Most components have reviews, which can really guide your decisions. You can also share your parts list for feedback. Good luck and have fun with the build!

First off, what's your budget and where are you located? That can really help narrow down the options!

Realistically, I'd like to spend less than $1500 since I already spent a grand on the GPU. I'm in the Midwest, USA.
