I'm in the process of installing my Asus Prime 5070ti, which comes with a 3 PCIe to 12V-2x6 adapter. The power supply unit (EVGA 850GT Gold) only has one standard PCIe cable, but it does include some split PCIe cables (8 pin to 2x 6+2 pin). Is it okay to use these split cables instead of a normal one, even if I only plug in one of the ends from the split? I've attached a picture here for reference: https://imgur.com/a/Tdt4vsd. Just to update, I ended up using all three cables, and everything seems to work fine. I really just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly and that it's safe!

Using a 1:1 and a 1:2 together should work just fine! Just make sure you have solid connections.
So you're saying it's okay to use just two cables instead of all three? I'm a bit concerned about the power draw if I do that.
