Confused About Fan Orientation for Aesthetics

I'm trying to build a PC case that looks great inside, but I'm confused about the orientation of fans. I want to avoid seeing the backs of the fans, which have that 'x' design. My plan is to have 4 intake fans at the back and bottom, and 3 exhaust fans at the top. For aesthetics, should I set the 4 intake fans to reverse and the 3 exhaust fans to forward? Or am I misunderstanding how this works?

Yep, you should go with 4 reverse fans as intakes and 3 normal forward fans as exhausts. That setup will give you a good airflow and keep things looking clean without showing off the backs of the fans.

You're on the right track about intakes being forward and exhausts being backward. However, it's typically better to have the back fan as exhaust, instead of intake. Just something to keep in mind; there can be exceptions depending on your specific case design!

It's for the Lian Li A3 case, which has a mesh front but no room for fans there, and the side is glass. What do you think—should I still go for a rear intake or make it an exhaust?
