I'm considering whether to get the MSI B650 TOMAHAWK motherboard for my Ryzen 5 9600X, and I'm also thinking about upgrading to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D in the future. However, I've heard that the TOMAHAWK is a bit pricey. Should I go for it, or would something like the ASUS B650 Prime be a better option? If the TOMAHAWK isn't worth the money, what alternatives do you suggest?

The MSI B650 TOMAHAWK is a solid motherboard, but I'd recommend looking into a B850 if you can swing it. It generally offers better features and performance.
What makes the B850 better though? I know the B650 needs updates, but what's the real difference besides the price?
