Hey everyone, I recently upgraded to an Apple Watch Ultra 2 from Series 8, but I'm having some major trouble. It won't pair with my phone; whenever I turn it on, it just shows the watch face and never prompts me to connect. I've factory reset it multiple times, but it only briefly shows the 'pair to iPhone' screen before going back to the watch face. My Series 8 pairs just fine, so I can't figure out what's going on. Also, the charger seems faulty—it doesn't even connect properly and feels really cheap, unlike the strong magnetic connection I had with my Series 8's charger. Has anyone else faced these issues?

It sounds like you might have received a counterfeit charger or watch. It’s unusual for an Apple Watch to repel away from its official charger. Have you checked where you bought it from? A lot of people unknowingly buy fake products, especially on sites like Craigslist. You might want to look into the legitimacy of your purchase to be safe.
I had a similar experience with a third-party charger that didn't work well with my Ultra 2. If you're seeing any signs of a bad charger, it’s probably best to reach out to Apple Support. Even if the watch seems genuine, a poor-quality charger can mess with the whole experience.
