Hey everyone! I'm having some trouble after enabling XMP on my RAM. I started streaming Hogwarts Legacy to a friend and mentioned some FPS drops. He suggested I enable XMP to boost my RAM from 2400MHz to its actual speed of 3200MHz. Since I did that, I've noticed some games crashing, particularly Baldur's Gate 3 and other Unreal Engine titles like Fortnite and REMATCH. Before enabling XMP, everything was running smoothly. Here's what I have for specs:
* Windows 11 Pro
* Motherboard: MAXSUN Terminator B550M 2.5G
* 32GB RAM 3200MHz Kingston HyperX Fury
* RTX 4070 Super
* Ryzen 7 5700X 3401MHz
I'm not super tech-savvy, and I haven't updated my BIOS yet because I'm a bit hesitant to do it myself. Is there a way to run my RAM at the correct speed without using XMP? I'm aware of overclocking, but I'm not sure how to handle that. Any advice would really help me out!!!

You might want to try setting XMP but adjust the frequency to something like 3000MHz instead of going all the way to 3200. XMP isn’t always perfect; it’s kind of an overclock. Also, updating your BIOS could help with memory stability, so you might consider that too.
I gave 3000MHz a shot using XMP profile 2. I’ll also work on updating the BIOS!
