How Can I Use My Chromebook Without a Screen?

So, my Chromebook's screen broke completely after my cat knocked it over, and now I can't see anything on it. I took out the broken screen and threw it away, but I still want to use the Chromebook temporarily to get my files off it. Is there a way to project the screen to a TV, monitor, or even another PC?

You can usually connect your Chromebook to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable. If it doesn’t work right away, try pressing 'Enter' after plugging it in. Just give it a minute to recognize the connection!

Yep, if there's no HDMI port, definitely check for that USB-C option. And if you're unsure about taking it apart to get the drive out, a professional can help with that!

Exactly! Just be aware that some Chromebooks might not have an HDMI port. If that's the case, you might need a USB-C to HDMI adapter to get it working. If all else fails, you could take the Chromebook to a repair shop to retrieve your files.
