I accidentally uninstalled a driver on my computer, and now nothing is working—my keyboard and mouse aren't detected at all. I can't remember which driver I removed, so I'm looking for a quick solution. What can I do to fix this issue?

First off, check your Device Manager for any missing drivers. You can usually find this by right-clicking on the Start menu. If you see any warnings or errors next to your USB devices, that’s a sign you need to reinstall the driver. A screenshot of the USB devices section could help too!

If you're up for it, try booting into recovery mode and resetting to a known good date—if you have System Restore enabled. This could help restore any drivers you uninstalled. If that doesn't work, go into Safe Mode and check Device Manager; sometimes, you can see and re-add missing drivers from there. If everything fails, you might need to look up your motherboard info online to find the specific drivers you need.

Yeah, to get into recovery mode, you can type 'RSTRUI' in the command prompt if you manage to get there. But just a heads-up, you need a working keyboard to do this! If you had System Restore enabled, you could roll back to a date before this whole mess started.

Good point! That’s a tough situation since I can't interact with my keyboard or mouse right now.
