Is the RTX 5090 AORUS MASTER ICE Really Worth the Extra $450?

I'm building a top-of-the-line PC for personal studies and AI competitions, and I'm eyeing the RTX 5090 AORUS MASTER ICE. It costs $3,130 in my country, which is a $450 premium over the ZOTAC SOLID OC WHITE priced at $2,680. I'm wondering if the features of the AORUS justify this price difference. Also, I won't be using a riser cable, so I'm curious if that affects things like thermal gel. What do you guys think?

Honestly, I don't think it's worth it. Just go for the cheaper option, you'll save some cash!

It's mostly about looks. If you're into aesthetics, choose the AORUS, but performance-wise, it's not worth the extra cash.

Alright! Thanks for the advice!

The AORUS may have a slight edge with its cooling and aesthetics. If you want a quieter system and plan on overclocking, it might be worth that extra $450, but expect only about a 1-2% performance boost for the price. If I were spending the cash, I'd stick with Zotac or another decent cooler for a bit more.

If you're using it for work, it's not worth the splurge. Unless you're really gunning for those 3DMark scores, grab the cheapest 5090 you can, preferably the FE version.

Performance-wise, they’re basically the same. Just pick whichever one you think looks better. But keep in mind that there might be slight differences in cooling or stability.

I believe so. But how much is the cooling or stability difference? Are they really negligible?
