I accidentally dropped my Moto G82 5G (which has an IP52 rating) into some really grimy water. Here's what I've done so far to try to fix it: I dried it with disinfectant alcohol and also let it air dry in a cool place. I even used cotton swabs to clean the external areas. After turning it off right away, I tried to power it back on after a while, but faced some issues like frame drops and the SIM card not being detected. Charging is weird too; it doesn't light up with my regular charger but charges really slowly with a power bank. I then placed the phone in a bunch of silica gel packets inside an airtight container for about 12 hours. Should I take it to a Motorola service center, sell it, or just get a new phone?

You really should have turned off the phone immediately after retrieving it and sent it to a repair center for cleaning. If liquid gets inside, it can cause serious damage if the device is still running. It’s best to just take it to a trusted service center now and hope for the best! Don't wait too long; salt and bacteria from that grimy water can cause even more problems.
Aah, I am in deep trouble indeed. Going to a trusted Motorola service shop today.
