I'm currently using a 3050 in my PC, and although I've been managing with the low frame rates and graphics quality, I'm eager to start playing more demanding games. I'm considering upgrading to a 4070, but I'm not really knowledgeable about AMD or Intel graphics cards. If anyone has suggestions or thoughts on what would be a good upgrade, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been using a 4070, and it performs great! It can easily handle nearly any game at 1440p, and it’s definitely a step up from the 3050. You might also want to look at the 7800 XT; it's a solid option too. Just keep in mind that production for the 4070 has slowed down, so snagging one at MSRP could be tricky. If you share your current specs, I can help check if your CPU will bottleneck the upgrade!
The 7800 XT could be an excellent choice for you! It has more VRAM than the 4070 and works well for 4K gaming at 60fps on decent settings. I switched from a 3050 to this card and the improvement was fantastic at 1440p! While the ray tracing performance isn't the best, it's still alright if you're not too picky about that.
Thanks for the info! I’m not too worried about ray tracing. It’s fun to crank up the graphics on games like Fortnite and Minecraft with shaders!
Make sure to mention your budget along with your specs!
