Hey everyone! I'm trying to find a way to ensure that Teams continues to work smoothly when using our Windows AOVPN solution with force tunneling. I've already excluded the IP addresses linked to Teams in the ProfileXML, specifically using the <Route> format. After applying this new profile on a test device and disconnecting from the VPN, my status showed "No internet, Secured", but Teams was still functional for some activities. The main issue is I can't send messages or get my colleagues' statuses and images to update. Any suggestions on how to maintain full functionality for Teams even if the VPN tunnel is inactive?

Could you explain why you insist on routing all traffic through AOVPN? It’s usually better to route only internal ranges, which can help avoid problems like this. If it’s solely for security, I understand the reasoning, but it complicates usage for apps like Teams.
Exactly! You can’t inspect excluded traffic properly, and most threats typically come from the public internet instead of the LAN. It’s a strategy that has its drawbacks.

That's a fair point! Unfortunately, my company wants everything routed through AOVPN for security—I've had a tough time arguing to exclude Teams.
