I've deleted multiple iMessage conversations from my phone, but my iCloud storage still shows 98.9 GB and hasn't changed at all. I've been searching for answers, but I can't seem to find anything helpful. Is it possible that it just needs some time to update?

If you can't find them in Recently Deleted, keep an eye on it for a little while. It might take some time for the changes to reflect in your iCloud storage. Just make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and check back in a couple of hours.
Check if those conversations are in your Recently Deleted folder. Sometimes, items hang around there for a bit before being permanently removed, which can hold up the storage update.
