Should I Upgrade My PC or Build a New One?

Hey folks! I built my current PC back in 2021 primarily for gaming purposes, especially for games like MW2019 and Warzone. It's got a Ryzen 5600x processor, an RTX 3070Ti, and 16 GB of DDR4 3600mHz RAM. Lately, though, I've been experiencing a lot of stuttering and lag while gaming, despite trying various fixes to no avail. I've heard that switching to an X3D processor might boost my gaming performance, so I'm considering upgrading to a 5700x3D. Do you think that would make a big difference? Or should I just go all out and build a completely new setup instead? If I opt for a new build, I'm contemplating getting a 4090 or 5080 paired with a 9800x3D. Here are some games I'm currently playing and hope to enjoy in the future:
- Call of Duty Black Ops 6/Warzone
- Destiny 2
- GTA 6 (once it drops)
I'd really appreciate your suggestions, but keep in mind that I'm not too eager to start a new build since parts are pretty pricey around my area.

It really depends on what settings and resolution you're aiming for. If you're just trying to hit 1080p at 60fps, your current setup should handle that fine. But if you're hoping for 140+ fps at 1080p, then something's likely off with your settings—or you might be bottlenecking somewhere else.

I just updated my original post about the games I’m playing! I do have a high refresh rate monitor and I need at least 140+ fps at 1080p.
