Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out if my CPU cooler is set up right based on the temperatures I'm seeing. I've got an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 cooler and while my PC is idling, the temps are around 42°C. However, when I'm gaming, they rise to about 50°C, and I've noticed some spikes up to 80°C during more demanding games like InZoi on ultra settings. Should I be concerned about those peaks? What are the normal operating temperatures for this setup? Any advice would be appreciated!

It looks like you're within a reasonable range. Just to help you out, what’s the temperature like in your room? What thermal paste did you use, and how’s the airflow in your case? I have a similar setup and usually idle at around 39°C, peaking at 75-80°C under full load. If you're worried, just double-check how you applied the thermal paste—it shouldn’t be too thick, just a nice even layer covering the surface.
Yeah, your temps are pretty much in the normal range. The 7900X3D can show higher temps due to its design. For a more accurate reading, try using HWinfo, but if that doesn’t work, Core Temp can give you reliable numbers.
Your temps seem pretty normal! Anything below 95°C is generally not a cause for concern. Just remember that using too much thermal paste can lead to a mess, so try to keep it moderate for optimal performance.
