Hey everyone! I'm building a new gaming and editing rig and have decided to go with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D for my CPU. Now, I'm on the hunt for a GPU that will pair well with it without causing any bottlenecks or being overkill. Most of my gaming will be at 1440p, and I might venture into 4K later on, along with some 3D work and light rendering. My budget is flexible. I'd love to hear what GPUs you're using or would recommend for this setup, and I'm also curious about whether AMD GPUs are worth considering, given the Smart Access Memory benefits. For gaming at 1440p, a 5070Ti would be a solid choice. It’s well-balanced for both gaming and rendering without breaking the bank. If you want to go higher, the 9070XT is also a great option that won’t bottleneck your CPU.
How does the 5070Ti handle 4K? Have you tried it with any specific titles?
