I recently ordered a 6600 XT from Newegg, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm considering returning it to get a 6650 XT instead, as they're both priced the same. Initially, when I ordered the 6600 XT, the 6650 XT was out of stock, but now it's available. I've heard that the 6650 XT is essentially just an overclocked version of the 6600 XT, so I'm wondering if I could overclock my 6600 XT myself. The obvious answer seems to be to return it, but I'm anxious about the return process and the possibility of losing my money. Any advice?

If you can get the 6650 XT for the same price, I'd say go for it! It’s a slightly better GPU, so why not take the upgrade?
Honestly, the difference between the 6600 XT and 6650 XT isn't huge. If you’re happy with your purchase and it’s a solid card, you might be fine just keeping it. But having the newer model is always nice! What models are we talking about?
It’s the XFX Speedster QICK 308 for the 6600 XT and the MSI Gaming X for the 6650 XT.
Yeah, I'm really worried about the return process, though. I did some reading on Newegg's return policy and found a ton of horror stories. Now I'm super hesitant!
