I'm having trouble getting my ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard to POST when I use all four sticks of RAM. I'm testing with two pairs of Crucial DDR5 Pro CP64G56C46U5.M16B1. Individually, each pair works fine, but the moment I install both pairs, the motherboard gets stuck on code FF. I'm curious if anyone has faced this issue and what could be causing it. Thanks for your help!

Your problem might be due to the fact that you're mixing two different RAM kits. Even if it's the same brand and specifications, manufacturers test their RAM in specific pairs to guarantee stability. Using separate kits can often lead to boot problems, especially with the AMD platform which can be picky with memory. It's usually safer to stick to one kit to avoid these issues!
It's worth noting that DDR5 memory currently doesn't perform well with more than two DIMMs. If you're running into issues, it might be a good idea to consider returning your current setup for a two-DIMM kit, which should work more reliably.
Yeah, I thought mixing them would work since they're the same spec. I just wanted to maximize my RAM for performance.
