I recently purchased a Samsung T7 SSD with 2TB of storage. After receiving it yesterday, I formatted it to NTFS and installed several games like Borderlands and Call of Duty, which worked perfectly. However, today, while transferring some emulation files, I noticed that everything seems corrupted. Downloads from various sources, including Steam and Epic Games, are failing to open, and zip files generate data errors when I try to extract them using 7-Zip and WinRAR. I'm not sure what's happening! I didn't leave the drive connected to anything overnight, so this is really baffling. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

It sounds like you might have been sold a fake or returned drive. Unfortunately, SSDs are a common target for scams. Check if the price was too good to be true or if the seller had sketchy reviews. You might want to run some tests to confirm its authenticity and performance.
I bought the same one! Here's the link to the Amazon page where I got it: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0874XWW23?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0874XWW23?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1). Make sure you check it out.
