I recently upgraded my gaming PC for the first time since building it in 2018. I got a new case, motherboard, CPU, PSU, RAM, and added a 2TB SSD. The guy at Microcenter suggested I might need to do a fresh install of Windows since I'm still using Windows 10. However, when I booted everything up, it just took me to my usual desktop after going through the BIOS screen that requested an FTPM reset. Should I still do a fresh install, or am I good since it seems to be working okay?

Just adding a new SSD shouldn't require Windows to be reinstalled. It’s still booting from your original drive, so unless you swapped that out, you should be good to go! Seems like the Microcenter guy didn't realize you just added a new drive.
You definitely have to format the new SSD before it can be used. That’s a common mistake. As for Windows, if it’s still running from your original SSD, then you're in the clear—no fresh install is necessary unless you changed your main boot drive.
