Hey everyone, I'm facing some serious lag and stuttering issues while playing Counter Strike 2 on my setup, which includes an Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU and an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU. My FPS fluctuates randomly between 20 and 90, even though my monitor supports 144Hz and is correctly configured. I've limited the FPS in the CS2 settings but it doesn't seem to help. Lowering the graphics settings doesn't improve performance either, even at a lower resolution. Strangely, this is the only game giving me these issues; other games like Clair Obscur run smoothly at 144 FPS on the highest settings. I've checked for driver updates, and they're all up to date. I reached out to Steam Support, but they suggested it might be a PC issue and closed my ticket. Have you tried checking for frametime spikes when you run monitoring software? That could give you some insight into why you're experiencing lag.
What kind of monitoring software would you recommend for checking that?
