Why is my Cinebench score lower than expected?

I recently ran Cinebench on my stock i5-12600K and got a multicore score of 860. I feel like that's pretty low compared to what I was expecting. Is there an issue, or is this score normal?

Your score seems about right for that CPU. A lot of folks compare scores from older versions of Cinebench, which used to yield higher numbers. I have an i5-12600KF, and my scores are in the 750 range, so you're not too far off.

So we have the same CPU, but you're scoring 100 less? Is there a good place to see average scores for CPUs?

Edit: Never mind, I found the average is 954. That means you're 200 points lower—doesn't that seem a bit off?
