I'm planning to build a new PC and already have two SSDs and two monitors ready to go. I've got a GPU and air cooler as well. Here's what I'm considering for the build:

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ATX AM5 Motherboard
- G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 Memory
- NZXT H9 Elite ATX Mid Tower Case
- be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
- Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler
- MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio 16G Radeon RX 6800 XT 16 GB Video Card

Also, since my SSDs have Windows installed from my old PC, will I need to reinstall Windows? Any recommendations for different parts would be greatly appreciated!

If your SSDs are from your old PC with Windows on them, you can boot from them, but beware of potential licensing issues. An OEM license might deactivate if you change hardware, while a personal license linked to your Microsoft account should remain active. I’d recommend doing a clean reinstall anyway. Backup your files and format the SSDs to avoid driver conflicts from the hardware changes.

What are your plans for the new build? If it’s for gaming, you might consider upgrading the GPU in the future. The Radeon RX 6800 XT is still capable of good performance. As for the motherboard, if it has solid reviews, you're likely on the right track for a high-end setup!

For gaming, your GPU is getting a bit old. While it has 16GB of VRAM and should handle 1440p, you might want to consider saving some cash and opting for a B650 motherboard instead of the X870E. That said, if you're happy with your current GPU, it might be fine for now.
