I'm putting together a new PC build and wanted to get some opinions on my chosen parts. I've already got 2 SSDs and 2 monitors, and I'm reusing my GPU and air cooler from an old setup. Just to note, I'm using these specific components:
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ATX AM5 Motherboard
- G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 Memory
- NZXT H9 Elite ATX Mid Tower Case
- be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
- Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler
- MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio 16G Video Card
A couple of questions: will my SSDs have Windows installed since they came from my previous PC, or will I need to reinstall? Also, I'd appreciate any suggestions for alternative components or improvement ideas!

Are you planning to upgrade your GPU soon? And I'm curious about your choice for the X870E motherboard.
Your GPU seems fine for 1440p gaming, especially with 16GB of VRAM. If you're aiming for a high-end setup that's somewhat future-proofed, it sounds like you’re on the right track! Just keep in mind that a solid motherboard can give you great options down the line.
For gaming, your GPU is alright, but it's starting to show its age.
You could consider scaling down on the RAM if you want to save a bit—6000 MHz is still plenty! A B650 motherboard might also be a more budget-friendly option with great performance.
