I recently built a new PC, but I'm facing an issue with a persistent red LED debug light for the CPU. I've shared my build list below to give context. Everything else seems to be functioning, but I can only run one fan on the CPU cooler because the DDRAM blocks the other one. Initially, when I powered it on, I noticed that the cooling fan wasn't working, which led to an automatic shutdown. I've disassembled and reassembled the build, but the red CPU light keeps showing up. Any suggestions on what might be wrong? Here's my build list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/DW6Bdb

If that doesn't work, try booting with just one stick of RAM. Test each one in different slots to rule out RAM issues. If it still doesn't work, take everything out of the case and just leave the motherboard and CPU connected to see if something in the case is causing a short.
First things first, make sure the CPU fan header is plugged in correctly. If it's not, that could definitely cause the red light. Also, consider moving the front fan up a bit if it’s blocking anything. Sometimes, it’s just a simple connection issue.
That's a good point! I've had similar issues just due to loose connections before. Double-checking is a must!
Smart thinking! I've had to do that before. It helps identify if there’s a short or grounding issue.
