Advice Needed for Building a New PC Without Gaming in Mind

Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a new PC using the AM5 architecture, specifically with the Liаn Li A3 case in mind. My primary activities will be basic tasks like web surfing, watching movies, and using Photoshop for personal projects—nothing too intense, and I'm not planning to game at all.

For my processor, I'm considering the AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, but I heard it doesn't have an integrated GPU. If I'm not gaming, would it be smarter to choose a processor that does have a GPU? What would be a good alternative to the 7500F?

So far, my planned specs include the following:
- CPU cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- PSU: FSP Hydro K Pro G5 850W PCIe5
- SSD: Kingston KC3000 500GB M.2 PCIe for system
- RAM: Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 (EXPO)
- GPU: Sapphire RX6600 Pulse 8GB (used)
- MB: Biostar B650MT

Will this configuration fit well in the Liаn Li A3 case?

If you don't plan on gaming, you might want to consider a processor with an integrated GPU, like the Ryzen 7600 or even an Intel 15th gen option. It'll handle basic tasks and editing just fine. Switching motherboards and processors might be a hassle. I've heard AMD is typically cooler than Intel, so I'm unsure.

For your use case, you could definitely save some cash by going with a mini PC instead, especially if you're mainly doing light tasks. Have you thought about that? You can find some solid options on places like Amazon.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm open to mini PCs, but I'm really keen on my planned specs at around 800 euros.

Since the 7500F lacks an integrated GPU, I'd say look for CPUs with one, like Intel's models. It might overall serve you better for non-gaming tasks. Always check the current pricing; it could make a difference!

Thanks! I’ll keep an eye out for Intel options. Any specific recommendations?

I actually have similar specs as you're considering: a Ryzen 5 7500F with an Rx 6600. Honestly, it might be overkill for what you'll be doing. I'd recommend the Ryzen 5 8600G instead. You'll still get good performance without going overboard. Pair it with a decent SSD of 256-512GB for optimal performance, maybe a 600W PSU would suffice too!

Appreciate the advice! Quick question—does the B650M motherboard fit inside the Liаn Li A3 case?
