Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of transitioning to a small form factor (SFF) PC setup from my current bulky system. I'm considering getting an ASUS 4070 Super OC 12GB for $650, but I'm wondering if it's a good upgrade coming from a 3070 since my current rig struggles a bit. I want to comfortably play last-gen games at 4K 120fps without too much lag. I'm also open to other options in a similar price range. Any thoughts or advice would be hugely appreciated! Also, just to clarify, I found out from the seller that the card is actually the 12GB version and not 16GB like I initially thought.

Yeah, the 4070 Super indeed only comes with 12GB of VRAM. If you made a typo and it’s actually a 4070 Ti Super, then that’s a solid card and a fair price for a used one. If you want to stick around the $650 mark, the non-XT version of 9070 is also a fantastic option for your 4K gaming needs!
Definitely weigh your options! 4K gaming requires a solid card, so don’t rush it.
Just to clarify, there isn’t a 16GB version of the 4070 Super—only the regular 12GB. However, the 5070 is priced at about $550 and offers a bit more performance. If you’re leaning towards upgrading from a 3070, the 4070 Super, while being a solid card, might not be the huge jump you’re hoping for. You could also consider the 9070XT, which is around $700-750 but offers great performance. Depending on your budget and needs, it might be worth checking out the 5070!
Thanks for the heads-up! I'm thinking the 5070 might be a smarter buy then.
If you're set on the 4070 Super, definitely make sure to verify it is the correct SKU before purchasing!
I just contacted the seller to clarify if it’s the Ti. Should I seriously consider the other options instead?
