A few days ago, while browsing online, I encountered a pop-up from Explorer.exe stating that Windows had denied access to something. I can't quite recall if it was a file or a program. Following that warning, I ran multiple virus scans, but nothing showed up. I'm a bit on edge about this, especially since my PC has started to slow down a little after I restarted it. I want to know if I might have a malware issue or if I'm just being paranoid. By the way, this happened shortly after a Windows update. Thanks for any help!

It's possible you might have encountered a script that was downloaded while browsing, which could have been added to your startup or even the scheduled tasks. This doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s malware, but it’s worth checking these areas to be safe. Just make sure to monitor your system for any unusual behavior.
Thx a lot! 🙂
So there's nothing to do with Malware?
