Help! My Lenovo Ideapad 3 Says ‘No Audio Output Detected’ After an Update

I'm having a frustrating issue with my Lenovo Ideapad 3. After a recent update, my laptop started displaying a message saying, 'No audio output detected.' I've tried a ton of solutions: I uninstalled the update that I believe caused the problem, performed a system restore, and even uninstalled the audio driver. I restarted my laptop, but the driver was just gone. I tried downloading new drivers from the Lenovo website, but they don't show up in Device Manager. Can anyone help me figure this out?

If the drivers aren't appearing in Device Manager, your system might have corrupted the installation. Try using the 'Hardware and Devices' troubleshooter. You can find it in 'Settings' under 'Update & Security' -> 'Troubleshoot.' It might help detect any missing drivers or issues with your audio hardware.

I’ll give that a shot too! Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a tough spot! Have you checked if the audio service is running? Sometimes, updates can mess with those settings. Go to your Services (you can search for 'services.msc' in the Start menu), find 'Windows Audio,' and make sure it’s running. If it's not, try starting it. Good luck!
