I accidentally dropped my iPhone 14 in water and everything seemed fine at first. I switched it off to let it dry, but I'm really worried about potential long-term damage. I know it's water-resistant, but how safe is it really?

The iPhone 14 has an IP68 rating, so it should survive submersion in water up to about 20 feet for 30 minutes without issue, as long as it's never been repaired by a third party. If that's the case, you’re likely fine! Just make sure it completely dries before turning it back on. If it was submerged for longer or at deeper depths, you could risk some water damage, unfortunately.
Got it, but is it safe to charge it now? It’s been over 24 hours since it got wet.
