Hey everyone! I've recently upgraded my old PC with a new CPU, GPU, and RAM, but I'm struggling to find the M.2 slot for my SSD on the Asus Prime A320M-R motherboard. I've even removed the GPU looking for it, but no luck. Is there something I'm missing, or am I just overlooking it? Any help would be appreciated!

A lot of folks make this mistake, but the manual doesn't list an M.2 slot, so it’s safe to assume it's not there. If you found an M.2 SSD listed on compatibility lists, that could just be a mistake. Best bet is to grab a SATA SSD for your setup.

Just to clarify, M.2 slots can be tricky; they don’t always obviously look like what you expect. However, without a dedicated slot on this mobo, your best option is to go with a SATA SSD. It might not be as fast as M.2 NVMe, but it will still give your older system a nice speed boost!

Unfortunately, your Asus Prime A320M-R motherboard doesn't actually have an M.2 slot. You're not alone in being confused—the documentation can be a bit tricky! Looks like you'll need to go for a SATA SSD instead.
