I recently installed a new water cooler for my i9 12900kf, and I discovered that the CPU has bent due to heat. Now, my PC won't even boot; the fans start up and then quickly shut off. I'm wondering, is replacing the CPU my only option here?

Just to clarify, heat itself didn’t bend your CPU. It’s usually improper installation of the cooler that causes bending. Many users with i9 12900k have reported similar issues after installation mistakes, so it’s more common than you think!
First off, check if the bending is permanent or just due to pressure from your cooler. If it’s just the cooler’s mount, consider getting a contact frame or loosening the mounting screws if you might’ve tightened them too much. Just make sure you're tightening them evenly instead of cranking one side down first. It might save you from having to replace the CPU!
I had the CPU in my hand and it's definitely bent. I can share a pic if you want.
I added an Imgur link with pictures, please don’t laugh at my misfortune!
I guess it could be my fault, but I’ve seen loads of threads about this CPU bending because of heat.
