Should I Uninstall My 5070 Drivers for Better Performance?

I'm dealing with some serious lag on my fresh Windows 11 installation, especially when I try to open Chrome – it just shows a white screen for over 5 minutes and freezes both of my monitors, though my mouse still moves. I'm relatively new to all this, so I'm looking for advice on whether I should uninstall the 5070 drivers or if there's something else I should try. By the way, things seem to load fine after the initial hiccup. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First off, what's your hardware setup? That can give us a clue. Make sure you're running the latest drivers, and sometimes a clean reinstall of the drivers helps fix weird issues. If you haven’t tried that yet, it might be worth a shot!

I’ve got an I7 12700kf, B760m motherboard, 64 GB of RAM, a RM750x PSU, and the RTX 5070. This setup should be more than capable. Maybe check for background processes or other software that could be hogging resources.
