Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build after years of sticking with consoles, and I'm excited about it. I want to check if my components are all compatible and if they'll handle gaming at 1440p well. Here's what I've got so far:
**Core Items**
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7600x (4.7GHz, 8 Core)
- **Motherboard**: ASUS B650M-A Prime AXII (microATX)
- **RAM**: G.Skill Flare X5 16GB DDR5-6000 (Single Channel)
- **GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12GB)
- **SSD**: Crucial P3 Plus 2TB (M.2 NVMe Gen 4)
- **PSU**: Corsair RM1000e 1000W (80 PLUS GOLD)
- **Cooling**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE (with Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste)
**Extras**
- **Monitor**: Acer Nitro XV272U 27" (2560x1440)
- **Keyboard & Mouse**: Redragon S139 Gaming Combo
The total comes to about $1400. Thanks for any advice!

Are you saying the 3060 has issues with 1440p? I thought it performed decently for a lot of titles at that resolution? Maybe I mixed it up with the 3060 Ti?
Honestly, your build looks solid overall, but I think the RTX 3060 might struggle a bit with modern games at 1440p. It's a decent card, but if you can swing it, consider saving on the power supply; 750W would be plenty for your setup. Just my two cents!

Yeah, the 3060 is a bit behind in terms of performance compared to the Ti. It can handle some games, especially at lower settings, but if you want to play newer titles smoothly, you might want to consider an upgrade.
