I'm about to upgrade my setup with a 4K 144Hz monitor and I'm planning on getting the Radeon 9070 XT. I want to know if my Ryzen 5 7500F will cause any bottlenecks when running at 4K resolution. Are there specific scenarios where the CPU might hold back the GPU, especially in CPU-heavy games like Minecraft? Also, will the graphics card always be working harder to keep below 144fps?

In general, the Ryzen 5 7500F is a solid choice for 4K gaming, but you might see some performance limits in CPU-heavy games, particularly with mods in Minecraft or fast-paced esports titles. However, many have reported smooth performance overall. If you’re going for the best value, the 7500F is a great pick!

I’ve got the same setup, and I haven’t faced any bottleneck issues at 4K. The 7500F runs well, even under stress, and I noticed no frame time problems either. It’s also a budget-friendly alternative to the 7600X, and it's capable of overclocking nicely, so I think you’ll be good! Just be aware of those niche CPU-intensive games where you might notice a hit.

That’s awesome to hear! What RAM speed are you using? I’m considering going for 6000MHz, is that a safe choice for the 7500F?
