I recently built a PC and ran into some startup issues. It seems like everything is connected properly, but when I try to boot it up, it just shows a message saying "Windows is loading files" and then powers off after about a minute. I used PCPartPicker for compatibility checks and found that the Z790 Aorus Elite AX is claimed to support 12th gen processors, but the box only mentions support for 13th gen. I'm confused about why it's listed online as compatible with 12th gen when it seems to only support 13th. Can anyone help clarify this?

Don’t stress too much about compatibility; both Z690 and Z790 motherboards are designed to support 12th, 13th, and even 14th gen processors. Your issue lies elsewhere. Let's figure that out!
Are you reusing your storage? If so, how are you installing Windows? You might need to check what you’re using to create a bootable USB.
From what I gather, if your PC powers on and shows something on the screen, then the CPU compatibility isn’t the problem. There’s likely something else going on with your setup.
