I'm working on my first PC build and I really hope I can keep the total cost under $2000. Here are the parts I've already chosen:
- Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8 Core
- MSI MPG X870E EDGE TI WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
- Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5200 CL40 Memory
- Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2 NVME SSD
- Antec C8 ATX Full Tower Case
- Deepcool AK620 CPU Cooler
I'm still looking for a GPU, and I'm considering a 4070, but the prices are quite high compared to the 4060s, which is overwhelming. This build is actually for my mom, so I really want to make sure I do it right. If you need more info to help, please let me know! Thanks!

A B650 motherboard with Wi-Fi will do just fine for your needs, while saving some cash!
Thanks for the tips! I'll check out the links you suggested. I'm also trying to avoid RGB in this build, by the way.
Definitely put your parts into a build list on PC Part Picker; it will help a lot with tracking prices. And I recommend swapping your RAM for a 6000c30 kit for better performance.
